Latter Hospitality Group

Co-Owner/VP of Operations and Development

Candace was drawn in to the culture and ambiance when she moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University more than 16 years ago.  During that time, and to pay for college, she developed a passion for hospitality, food, and wine while working with some of the best at Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group.  She continued her love affair with the City when she began her career in Sales, Marketing, & Special Events with the New Orleans Saints.

It was in her second career working for a Commercial Construction Company that she married her wonderful husband Mark and was blessed with a son. While juggling a new family and a position as Director of Contract Services, her work life balance along with nursing proved to be an enormous challenge.  This trial resonated within her and inspired her to move on and find her own balance of career and family.

Inspired and motivated, Candace saw this as an opportunity to move back to her true passion in the hospitality industry and achieve another dream of starting her own small business. Candace opened Bin 428 on the beloved Magazine Street. Her desire was to have a place where wine shopping is an approachable experience, where customers are not overwhelmed by the pretentious environment that is often associated with wine.

Candace has continued her business ventures and is now co-owner and VP of Business Operations and Development of the Latter Hospitality Group, which includes Tujague’s and Bar Frances restaurants and another establishment opening soon, Claret, A Wine & Cocktail Bar located in the Lower Garden District.  Candace is also a founding Board Member of JUNO Work Balance, Inc. a local, non-profit building stronger families through education, support and advocacy on behalf of working families.
