Patricia “Patti” Pannell is a Human Resources Consultant and Mediator. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Patti was actively engaged in the practice of labor and employment law in her adoptive home of New Orleans, before following her passion of becoming an entrepreneur and starting her own business.

 

In 2014, she co-founded Gotcha Covered HR to provide human resources support to small and mid-sized Louisiana businesses. Recognizing that employees are a business’ most valuable asset, the team at Gotcha Covered HR works with both non-profit and for-profit businesses to customize practical and cost-effective strategies, as well as solutions to the challenges of human capital management including training, conflict resolution, and development of compliant and effective policies and procedures.

 

Patti is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association (Sections of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Labor and Employment Law); a member of the New Orleans affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (NOLA-SHRM) (Professional Development Committee), the New Orleans Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-NOLA), the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) (Equal Pay Day Committee), and, through Gotcha Covered HR, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and StayLocal.

Patti is married to her law school sweetheart and has two sons. She enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, travel, and SEC football. She is an active member of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church and is past Chair of the Global Ministries Committee.
